Which rack fits depends heavily on the series. Older models and the 70 Series have rain gutters, where feet such as RL110 or RL150 sit directly on the gutter. The 76 (wagon), 78 (Troopy) and 79 (pick-up, single or double cab) have different roof lengths, so each version has its own kits. For models without rain gutters such as the 120, 150, 200 and 300 Rhino-Rack uses the Backbone system or RCP bases. For a roof tent a platform or Heavy Duty bars work best. Add up the weight of rack, tent and load against the permitted roof load in your owner's manual. Whether a fitting has to be approved is best checked with TÜV or DEKRA beforehand.
