First the terms: a replacement tank swaps the factory tank for a larger one, for example 140 L for the Revo 2.8 GD with AdBlue or 149 L diesel from Long Ranger. An auxiliary tank is added to the factory tank, such as the LRA 120 L auxiliary tank for the Vigo or the N4-Offroad 160 L tank for the Vigo and Revo. For the Double Cab from 2015 Long Ranger also offers combinations of replacement tank and companion tank.
When you buy, check generation, cab and fuel. Many tanks come in separate versions for diesel and petrol, for single, extra or double cab and for vehicles with the factory tub or a flat tray. The ARB replacement tank for the Vigo, for example, is listed for vehicles without a factory rear differential lock. A larger tank changes the weight and specification of your vehicle.
